The Pulse 2010

Posted by Alex On February - 5 - 2010

pulse

I thought we would have a little fun today trying to gauge where Packer Nation is as we enter the final game of 2009. It’s officially time to look forward, so let’s find out where we’re at.

Here is a series of polls. I have made the questions pretty black and white for a reason. Specifically, I just prefer to throw out middle ground and all of the if-we-can-get-him-for-a-deal questions that really don’t say much.

Let these polls stand as proof of what we all thought going into 2010 – it will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

If anyone votes to keep Jarrett Bush, they should be banned from the site. Scratch that; banned from the internet.

    I did.

With the hope that he never gets on the field for ANYTHING but special teams. Dude is a disaster in the Secondary, not bad on ST’s, admit it.

I think we should keep the tradition and not worry about cheerleaders. we dont need people to direct us in cheers. But i couldn’t click on anything that says “No Chicks Please” , especially when the other option is “get some”.

WHO THE F VOTED ON KEEPING JARRETT BUSH???

Alex, I think someone got confused and voten on Keeping Jarrett Bush out of town…
    -
    some things:

TT will probably both move up, move down, and keep some picks…

The Packers should Keep Aaron Kampman for the right money,

should keep Atary Bigby as a rotational player/backup,

I only want Julius Peppers for the right money…

And in the Draft, the order is Joe Haden, Russel Okung, Eric Berry, Rolando McClain, CJ Spiller, Brandon Graham, Charles Brown, Mike Iupati, Bryan Bulaga, Trent Williams, Jahvid Best, Kyle Wilson, Anthony Davis.

Not having cheerleaders is lame. I mean, its not that big of a deal I guess, but what the hell are we trying to prove by being the only team that doesn’t have real cheerleaders?

I think i found the people who voted for Bush they are:
    Himself
    His agent
    Ted Thompson
    His Parents
    His wife or girlfriend
    His Barber
    His neighbor
    His posse
The guy that details his car
and some homeless guy Bush paid to go into the public library and get on the internets and vote.

  8. FITZCORE1252 Said,

    LOOK,

Nobody LIKES Jarret Bush we can all agree, he should NEVER be on the field to play defense unless a tragedy occurs. But seriously, If he’s on the team as just a “Core” ST’s guy (which is what the guy is), I’m alright with that.

I will take my lumps now.

I’m sorry, Fitz, but he’s the leader in ST penalties, whitout being the leader even in ST tackles, let alone big ST plays.

He’s just terrible anywhere he plays…

    It’s all good,

I’m not claiming the guy’s Steve Friggin’ Tasker, but if you can honestly say he’s “terrible” @ ST’s, we will agree to disagree (if I recall he did garner interest last year from several teams with ST’s in mind, I thought the Pack matched a decent offer… could be wrong though).

Just to clarify; seeing him in the secondary makes me puke in my mouth a little bit every time. My thoughts of his future in a GBP uniform are strictly in a ST’s role.

The only way he should see starting DB time is if there is a fiery crash after the weekly Secondary dinner @ TGI Friday’s.

We (and the world minus TT) agree that he’s terrible at D.

Just one last word (I can’t help it, but I’m not trying to argue in here) regarding the ST play.

    07 NFCC game. Enough said.

The thing is, we are so much lacking at ST, that he seems good. The only guys we have in there are Havner and Bishop, and neither is a gunner…

  9. Max Said,

Wow, people would rather we didn’t re sign Kampman, but we DID re sign Bigby!? ….. what the hell are people on? Bigby stinks, he’s worse than useless in coverage and he’s never lived up to his, so called, ‘big hitter’ status. Kampman on the other hand is a solid pro that may even turn into a solid OLB.

I voted yes on both… But I think the reaction is based upon their immediate replacements and their cost, not on the on-field value both would add…
